Investment Research Disclaimer
Plain-language answers about what this platform is, what it isn't, and who makes the investment decision.
What this does
This platform is an investment research and analytics tool -- not a brokerage, trading platform, investment adviser, or broker-dealer. It does not execute securities transactions, hold customer assets, or provide personalized investment advice. The questions below answer the most common questions about that boundary in plain language; the full Investment Research Disclaimer has the complete legal-language version.
What you'll see
Is this a trading platform? No -- you cannot buy or sell securities here, and the platform never connects to a brokerage or executes a transaction. Can I buy or sell securities here? No -- there is no trading functionality of any kind. Is the platform my investment adviser? No -- it does not act as, or claim to be, a registered investment adviser. Does the platform provide personalized investment advice? No -- everything shown is general research information, not advice tailored to your individual circumstances, objectives, or risk tolerance. Are scores or research outputs recommendations? No -- every score, tier, and analytic is a research tool based on a defined methodology and available data, never a recommendation to take any action. Does a Research Brief item tell you to buy or sell? No -- the Brief highlights objective research changes for you to review; presence in the Brief is never an investment signal. Does "new information since thesis review" mean my thesis is wrong? No -- it means only that new objective research information exists for you to evaluate; the platform never judges whether your thesis still holds. Who makes the investment decision? You do, entirely and independently. Can information be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect? Yes -- information comes from third-party providers and public sources believed reliable, but it may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or subject to change. Does past performance guarantee future results? No -- past performance, historical results, and quantitative measures never guarantee future results. Can investing result in loss? Yes, including the possible loss of principal. Should I independently verify important information? Yes -- especially anything you consider material to a decision, and consult a qualified financial, legal, or tax professional where appropriate.
If something goes wrong
If any part of the platform ever reads like it's telling you what to do with a specific security, that's not the intended experience -- everything here is designed to inform your own independent research, never to direct it.
